Dear Future Me,
I have no clue where you are at, but you have come a long way, and have a long way still to go yet. I hope, though, that you have found peace- with your surroundings, with your family, and with yourself. And I hope, as old as you may be, that you have not lost the sense of wonder and amazement you held as an eighteen year old. Maybe you will find yourself in slumps with work and bills and various adult responsibilities, but don’t you forget what it’s like to be adventurous. Go out and try new things, explore the world around you, get away, and go do something different! This world, as harsh as it may seem, is spilling with fantastic possibilities, and you better damn well make use of it. You should be happy with what you do, and don’t settle for anything less. You can’t forget all the values and morals you set for yourself when you were eighteen; don’t lose yourself in the commotion of every day life. Because, I know for a fact, that you have this incredible lust for life within you that will bring you so many great experiences, they don’t have to end once you’re 30, or 40, or 50, or 100. Keep going at this world armed with curiosity and positivity, I promise you’ll go far and have an amazing time along the way.
